José Gabriel López Antuñano

Born in 1949 he is a Ph Doctor in Romanic Literature, and he got a Prize for his Doctorate.
He teaches Dramaturgy at the Drama School of Valladolid, and has taught at the Theatre Master of the Complutense University of Madrid.

As a journalist, he is a member of the International Association of Theatre Critics and has written for one the main journals in Spain, ABC. Cultural.

As edition curator he has published different theatre volumes, like the awarding volume Premios Lope de Vega 1952 and 1953, or Obra Teatral by José Luís Alonso de Santos.

He publishes regularly as scholar in theatre magazines like Primer Acto (Madrid), ADE TEATRO, Nueva Revista, Cadernos (Lisbon) and Assaig de Teatre (Barcelona) curetting the works of more than 50 stage directors and playwrights.

He is as well adviser of the International Theatre Festivals or Nitra (Slovakia), Kontakt (Torun, Poland), Satiry (San Petersburg, Russia) and a jury member for the Estonia Festival of Theatre.
He has given lectures in Spain, Germany, France, Estonia and Poland, among others.
